You can easily locate duplicate mp3, wma, flac, ape, ogg formats in home or networked drives. The tool gives you the flexibility of searching in multiple locations. You need not to search again and again into different locations. You can move the duplicate files to the Recycle bin or to some other folder to double check. Let me show you step by step process of how to delete the duplicate files using Duplicate cleaner.
Caution- Duplicate Cleaner locates files on your hard disc that appear twice. There may be a good reason for this - a program may require a file in a certain place to work. If in doubt, do not delete a file!
Step1 - Download Duplicate Cleaner .Double click on the DuplicateCleaner.exe file in Windows Explorer. Follow a simple automatic install process to the location of your choice. For better clarity download the below screenshot using right click.

Step2 - On the 'Search Criteria' tab you can choose folders by clicking on the folder icon. Add the folder to the search list by clicking on the 'Add Search Path' button. All paths in this list will then be included in the duplicate scan. Uncheck the 'Scan all subfolders' checkbox if you do not want to search for duplicates in subfolders.
Step3 - Select File Search criteria
here are two modes of operation - File search and Music Search.
File Search
This utility scans for duplicate file according to the filter criteria you specify. You can choose from one of the preset filters (graphics file, MS Office files, Movies, etc) by clicking on the 'Select' button, or you can type in your own separated by a semicolon (;).Search and Music Search.
You may specify to search for duplicates in any combination of:Same Content (CRC 32 checksum);Same File Name;Same Size;Same Date (file's Modified Date)
Music Search
If you select this mode duplicate Cleaner read the extra information contained within the file - Song title, Artist, Length, Bit Rate, etc to locate the duplicate mp3 files. The currently supported formats are MP3, WMA, OGG, APE and FLAC. You may specify to search for duplicates by any combination of - Same Artist; Same Title or Same Album
Let me give an example of how to locate for duplicate mp3 files –
Try Music Search with 'Same Artist' and 'Same Title' only checked. You should also do a separate 'Same Content' file search as well, to catch any duplicate files with missing tags.
Step4 - Click on the 'Start' button to the bottom left to find the duplicate files. Once the scan is complete a summary is displayed and any duplicate sets are show in the main window. You can export the results as a csv file for future reference.
Step5 - Click on the 'Delete/Move Files' button and select delete to delete the duplicate file. Always check the size of the file you are delete.
