Include some physical activity in your daily schedule.Physical activity is the best medicine that provide relief from stress. Do walking, aerobics, jogging, dancing, swimming--any physical activity you enjoy will work.
Maintain your diet. Avoid drugs and minimize your alcohol use .This will not aggravate your stressful feeling.Instead take some mocktails and if possible not alone but accompany somebody.Don’t smoke excessively also.
Be pragmatic and try to accept the facts. Many people get distressed over things they feel they can’t accept. Try to let go of things over which you have no control, and see how much lighter your feel.
Find out different ways to Relax. Sit down and slowly take a deep breath in, hold it, and then exhale very slowly. Visualize some soothing scene and say something positive like I am feeling great.
Talk rationally and practically to Yourself. Ask yourself what real impact the stressful situation will have on you in given passage of time.
Talk to your good Friends don’t make yourself alone. Friends always give you a feeling of well-being. Regular conversation, social engagements, and sharing of feelings and thoughts can reduce stress.
Don’t make any comparisons. Whenever you will compare yourself with your colleague then it will result in stress. Always try to learn to notice the similarities between yourself and others rather than the differences. This will induce harmony and a feeling of well being in your mind.
Get your daily schedule organized Develop a schedule of daily activities that includes time for work, sleep, relationships, etc. Use a daily To Do list. Improve your physical surroundings by cleaning your room and work area. This will induce a feeling of well being.
Reduce the urgency of time. If you check your watch or worry about being late frequently, allow more time than you think you will need to get things done.
Balance work and life. Balance your life and office work demands with some recreational activities. You may take a stroll,can play guitar or some other musical instrument that may soothe your mind.
