Do you frequently insert a part of same text into emails. Many times while composing an email we write same sentences again and again. For example, while wishing your colleague on his or her birthday or anniversary you normally type nearly same text again and again. There are many other similar instances. In MS Office 2007 you need not to press same keystrokes again and again. You can actually save your time by adding the reusable part or snippets using a single keystroke.
- Open Microsoft Outlook 2007 and click on New to compose a new email. Write a Text that you want to add in a single Keystroke. For Example, “Wishing you a Very Happy Birthday! God bless you.”
- Select the whole sentence using your cursor and click on tab Insert. You will notice quickparts tab as shown in the screenshot and save your selection to your quickparts gallery.
