Track missed out posts with Blog Search

I love reading snippets pertaining to technology and visit some of the websites daily to keep myself updated.gigaom is the one which I visit almost daily but since last week i was not able to follow up with the Om's blog. The reason being committed to my project work and I missed many of the articles. How can I find it out like which articles did Om published in the entire duration of last one week.If a look into his blog then it will take hell lot of time to figure out which articled i missed out.Similar might be the problem of yours of how to find the articles of a blog or website on a particular day or between any particular duration which you missed it out.

Though the solution was provided by google way back in November 2005 but i would like to share who does not know about the same.Google has aprovided a search engine separately for blog "Google Blog Search".It helps you to Find blogs on your favorite topics. It target primarily to individual blog postings, with a title and snippet. In some cases, links to "related blogs" are presented at the top of search results if a query suggests that the user is looking for a particular blog rather than a specific blog posting.

The Blog Serach results are sorted by relevance. Google blog search has an advanced search page and a number of options are available which allows you to limit searches by title, author and date or date range. You can also limit results to a specific language, or apply the Safe Search filter to results.

You can even find it out who's linking to a post or blog using the link: command. Unlike Google web search, which sharply filter out the number of results displayed using link: command to discourage abuse by search marketers, the link: command in blog search displays a comprehensive and nearly complete list of sources linking to a particular post or blog. You can save a blog search as an alert that gets updated whenever new content is posted matching you query. The beauty of the application is that it allows you to issue a query and then subscribe to that query via your RSS feed reader, with either 10 or 100 results being displayed.

This search is completely different from normal Google search engine. It can be accessed in following three ways :

http://www.google.com/blogsearch
http://search.blogger.com/
http://blogsearch.google.com/

Advanced search options can also be viewed by following link:
