Protect your images by Watermark


You must be using images on your blog or website or must be storing in applications like flickr.Do you think your images are safe and secure. Certainly not. I must tell you that many of your images are copied by sploggers without your prior permission despite your blog/website is copyright protected.There is a way to combat the same using watermarks on photos. But almost all webapps are paid services giving you a trial period of 7-21 days. Many of us cannot afford to buy those softwares. Finally, I managed to find free online service to watermark the images.

PicMarkr lets you to add custom watermark (image or text) to your images online and free. It is useful when you need to protect your copyrights or if you want to add comments to your photos.PicMarkr allows you to protect and brand your images by adding a custom image or text watermarks. The beauty of this application is that no sign-up or download is required. You can upload files pictures from your computers directly or if you are storing your images on flikr account then you can pull them you’re your Flickr accounts. You'll have to authorize this app with Flickr, and once you do you can browse your Flickr account, select the pics which you want to watermark using several different watermarking methods. Once you're finished, you can upload the watermarked image to your Flickr account or save it to your computer. Both the options are available with you.

PicMarkr uses batch image processing method which means you can load more than one picture at a time. Watermarks can be text, image or tiles. Size of the file should not exceed 25 MB.
