1. Use only One Adsense Account for Multiple websites. You do not need to create 2 adsense accounts for 2 different blogs. One account is sufficient. If you want to create another adsense account than Google’s robots will not permit you to do so. You will get the email from adsense saying that you have already having one adsense account. One may use its existing adsense account in the other blog as well. When you choose the adsense then at the bottom you have an option of switching to the other adsense account. Just enter the username and one question like “your PIN number. After entering that you have actually connected to your existing adsense account. In this way you can use your previously existing adsense account into your different websites or blogs. If you fear that your account will get closed down due to fake clicks, believe me google robots are intelligent enough to track that and it will close all accounts once they find it out. You can keep track of clicks by using channels with real time statistics.2. Do not disclose any of your confidential information pertaining to your adsense account like the CTR, CPM and income derived via individual ad units or any other confidential information. However, you can reveal the total amount you make as per recent updates to the Google’s terms of service.
3. Never take a chance to change the Adsense code. Adsense customizations are available to change the colour, background or border to suit your needs. Do whatever you want to do as per the rules setup by google, never make the changes within the ad or the search code. Google robots know it when you do. The code may stop working.
4. Never click your own AdSense ads or get them clicked from your friends forcibly for whatever reason. Never ever tell your office colleagues or friends to click on them. Ask your family or children not to click the ads. Don’t even think of offering incentives for clicks, using automated clicking tools. Adsense is very smart to detect fraudulent clicks. If you click these ads yourself google will close down your adsense account and you will not be able to continue generating the income. So it’s better to follow the policies and rules set up by Google.
5. Do not place more than 3 ad units and 3 ad links or 2 adsense search boxes on any web page. Ads will not appear in those units even if you place more ad units as per Google’s policy.
6. Never ever launch a New Page for clicked ads by default. Adsense ads should open on the same page.
7. You should Place ads only on Content Pages. Advertisers pay only for content based ads. Content drives relevant ads.
8. Never alter the results after ad clicks or searches. Make sure that you are not altering the site which the user reaches to after clicking the ads. Never frame, minimize, remove, redirect or otherwise inhibit the full and complete display of any Advertiser Page.
9. Never mask ad elements. Alteration of colors and border is an available option to blend or contrast ads as per your blog requirements. I have seen many sites where the url part is of the same colour as the background. Blending the ad with your blog is a good option, but hiding relevant components of the ads is not allowed. You must take one note that one should not block the visibility of ads by overlapping images.
10. Never send any ads through email. It is not allowed as per Google’s Terms of Service. They are watching! So be aware. It is better to read and remember the terms and conditions for using google adsense.
11. Always keep track of your content. Do not add it on web pages with mp3, Videos and Image Results. Do not even include any pornographic, hate-related, violent, or illegal content as per TOS.12. Ensure that you Language is Supported by blog- Adsense supports “Korean, Dutch, Norwegian, English, Polish, Chinese Japanese, Russian, German, Spanish, Hungarian, Swedish, Italian, Danish, Finnish, Portuguese, French and Turkish”. In addition, AdSense for search is available in Czech, Slovak, and Traditional Chinese. If your blog’s web pages language is not supported, do not use the code on such pages.
13. Can use only 2 referral button per product per page - With the launch of the google adsense referral program, you are allowed to put only 2 referral buttons for adsense referral, adwords referral.
14. Do not place small images next to your Google ads. Do not mislead your visitors. Your visitors believe that the images and the ads are directly associated, they may click the ad expecting to find something that isn't actually being offered. That's not a good experience for users or advertisers. It is very annoying.
